Games I Finished In 2023

In 2023, I started some games. I abandoned some games. I even finished a few! After going back and looking through my /now page, I see I finished more that I thought!

In this last year I abandoned games more that in the past and I want to continue doing that in the future. You don't have to play every new shiny thing and you certainly are not required to finish anything you aren't into. Playing games is for fun, not a job. If that means playing a farm simulator game, playing the same game again for the 4th time, or playing the game in a way it wasn't intended, go for it. Just remember to have fun and enjoy yourself! 😃🎮

Nintendo Switch

• Sports Story If you played Golf Story, jump in! It had some game breaking bugs early on, but those are all sorted now.
• Metroid Prime: Remastered It felt familiar and new at the same time. Loved it then and I love it now.
• Super Mario Bros. Wonder Just, pure, delight. Such a fun entry in the Mario series.

Xbox Series X / ROG Ally Handheld

• Torchlight III I liked the first two and this one was just as much fun as they were.
• Cocoon This was a late addition at the end of the year and I am so happy it came across my desk. Great visuals, sounds, and atmosphere.

MacBook Pro (macOS)

• Oceanhorn: Chronos Dungeon Still in the Oceanhorn world but a different play style. A relatively short play through. It's neat to see the world in a different art style.
